There are many types of travel restrictions due to the epidemic in India. During this time only the necessary facilities are being provided. Therefore, the number of domestic air passengers is expected to be reduced from eight to nine crores in the current financial year. Airline consulting company CAPA India released the report on Monday. According to this report, the supply of more than 200 aircraft with orders from Indian companies can also be postponed for two years.

Regarding this ban, the company said in its report that in the situation of Kovid-19 and Indian aviation industry, the number of domestic air passengers has been reduced from eight to nine crore in the financial year 2020-21. Earlier this estimate was 14 crore passengers. According to the report, the number of international air travelers traveling outside the country is also expected to come down to three and a half to four crores which was seven crores in the last financial year.

Regarding the matter, it has been said in the report that, due to travel restrictions related to the Corona virus crisis and softening in economic activity, the first quarter of FY 2020-21 will be of little use to Indian industries. At the same time, the report said that the second quarter will also pass through the lack of historical demand in the market and aviation companies will move towards improving the situation marginally. CAPA said that in the first half of the current financial year, companies will have more fleet than available. The company said that this is an initial estimate and it can be revised with time.
