Hyderabad: Dr. BS Bajaj, a prominent icon in the biotech sector, breathed his last on Tuesday. He served as the founding secretary of the Federation of Asia Biotech Association (FABA). The Jinom Valley was formed in Hyderabad. At the Bio-Asia meeting in 2019, he expressed special support.
In 1999, Bajaj worked as a promoter by establishing Biotechnology in Hyderabad. In the state, he created the Genome Valley under the biotech labor industry policy. Its development was also accelerated. He guided many experts in making medicines and vaccines in the bio-field.
Governor Tamilisai Sundararajan and Chief Minister KCR condoled the death of Dr. BS Bajaj. Both are very sad about this. He remembered the work done by him in the field of bio-technology. Mourning his death, Chief Minister KCR wrote, 'CM Sri KCR has mourned the death of Dr. BS Bajaj, Doyen of Biotech Industry in Hyd.' CM recalled the services rendered by Dr. Bajaj as Founder Secretary-General of Federation of Asian Biotech Associations and on how he worked tirelessly to make Genome Valley & Bio-Asia a reality.
