BJP legislators were uprooted after a comment was made by Congress MLA Geeta Bhukkal. After this, BJP MLAs also joined the uproar. During this, BJP MLAs started raising slogans of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'. There was a ruckus in the house for 10 minutes.

During the Question Hour in the Vidhan Sabha, former Education Minister Geeta Bhukkal said that the Manohar Lal government only has the slogan of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'. BJP MLAs were uprooted as soon as they said this. State Home Minister Anil Vij and Ambala city MLA Vipul Goyal called the Congressmen as Pakistani. After this, BJP MLAs started raising slogans of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' in the House.

Home Minister Anil Vij said that Bharat Mata is our pride and self-respect, but the opposition legislators have satirized in the matter of 'Bharat Mata ki Jai'.
