BJP to take to streets against Mahua Moitra

New Delhi: Amidst the controversy over the poster of the film 'Kaali,' the BJP has opened a front on the statement of Trinamool Congress (TMC) Lok Sabha MP Mahua Moitra. On the one hand, the TMC has taken a dig at its leader Mahua Moitra's statement, while the BJP has become aggressive and has also taken to the streets and announced a demonstration.

Not only this, BJP state president Sukant Majumdar has demanded that Mahua Moitra be arrested immediately in the case. Two complaints have also been lodged against Mahua Moitra on behalf of the BJP. It has also demanded that the TMC suspend her. The BJP says that the party will hold a protest over the statue of Mother Kali. The controversy started over the poster of the film 'Kaali,' which was shared by filmmaker Leena Manimekalai on social media.

Let us know that in this poster, a woman in the guise of 'Maa Kali' is shown, who is seen smoking a cigarette. Along with this, the poster also shows the LGBT flag in the mother's hand. A controversy has erupted over the same poster and strict action is being demanded against the filmmaker. While talking to a TV channel on the same controversy, Mahua Moitra made a statement about Mother Kali, which has been objected to by many other organisations, including the BJP.
