The BJP has released its second list of 36 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections which includes 23 candidates for Andhra Pradesh, and six candidates for Telangana. However, the party has put the candidate for Medak segment on hold. It will announce the candidate soon. The list was announced late last night after it was finalized by the BJP Central Election Committee in New Delhi.

The BJP has announced a total of 221 candidates for Lok Sabha polls so far. The party nominated Soyam Babu Rao from Adilabad (ST reserved constituency) and S Kumar from the Peddapalle SC reserved constituency. Dr. Bhaaantha Rao is declared as party candidate from Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency against AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi. Meanwhile, the Congress has released its 7th list of candidates for the Lok Sabha polls that was finalized by the party Central Election Committee containing the names of 35 candidates.
