NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up for a 16-day nationwide campaign named 'Seva Hi Sangathan' to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 73rd birthday on September 17. This initiative will run until Gandhi Jayanti on October 2.

The decision to launch this campaign was made during a meeting attended by key figures from the BJP, including National General Secretaries Tarun Chugh, Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal, Sanjay Bandi, and Kailash Vijayvargiya. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the arrangements for Prime Minister Modi's upcoming birthday celebrations.

Within this meeting, party leaders also deliberated on future projects, including the 'Meri Mati Mera Desh' program, among other topics.

In the previous year, the party had successfully executed the 'Seva Pakhwara' campaign, spanning from September 17 (Prime Minister Modi's birthday) to October 2 (Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary). During the 'Seva Pakhwara', the BJP had arranged informative exhibitions centered around PM Narendra Modi at the district level.

Further, the forthcoming 'Seva Hi Sangathan' campaign will encompass the celebrations of Deendayal Upadhyay's birth anniversary on September 25, as well as Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti on October 2.

Prime Minister Modi, born on September 17, 1950, in the modest town of Vadnagar in Gujarat's Mehsana district, continues to inspire these initiatives.
