Shimla: Himachal Pradesh CM Jairam Thakur has been summoned to Delhi by the BJP's top leadership. He has been accompanied by state BJP functionaries. This has sparked speculation in the political corridors of Himachal as CM Thakur had returned from Delhi on Sunday itself. Meanwhile, the speculation market in Himachal is also hot after the Gujarat CM resigned a few days ago.

In Delhi, CM Jairam Thakur and BJP functionaries will meet the BJP high command this evening. State in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna, Sanjay Tandon, union minister Pawan Rana and BJP state unit president Suresh Kashyap will be present. Speculations are rife that the meeting will discuss the political situation in the state and the upcoming by-election.

Congress leaders have also got a chance to corner CM Jairam Thakur amid the ongoing political turmoil in the BJP across the country. He is even saying that CM Jairam is being removed because of his call to Delhi. Addressing a public outcry rally at Dhalpur maidan in Kullu, Congress MLA Vikramaditya from Shimla Gramin said that like Karnataka, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, states, BJP can change CM overnight in Himachal.
