Ahemdabad: A welcome rally was organized on the arrival of newly appointed President of Gujarat BJP unit CR Patil to Surat, all preparations for this were completed. But in the end, the rally was stopped. If the BJP state president's rally in Surat was to be stopped in view of Corona, then why so much preparation was done in the first place?

After putting a halt, BJP MP from Navsari and Gujarat BJP Chief CR Patil spoke to the media at Surat Airport. During this, Patil talked about stopping the rally due to Coronavirus. He said, "The rally has been cancelled keeping in mind the safety and health of BJP supporters". Sources say that preparations for this rally were going on for the last two days. The BJP leaders of Surat shared their program with the media 2 days ago. However, ahead of CR Patil's rally on Friday morning, there was a demand from the Patidar community of Surat to take out a rally to appoint Hardik Patel as the Working President of the Congress.

If CR Patil's rally would have taken place, Hardik Patel will also ask to take out the rally. It is being told that the police too was in a dilemma regarding Hardik Patel's demand. A large crowd gathered in CR Patil's welcome rally. During this time the flag of social distancing was also blown off. However, Patil himself later cancelled his rally.
