Lucknow: BJP candidate Ashok Singh, who is contesting against Abbas Ansari, son of Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari from Mau Sadar assembly seat in Uttar Pradesh, has launched a scathing attack on Ansari and the Samajwadi Party (SP). Talking to the media, he said that whether Mukhtar Ansari contested the elections or his son, it was the same thing.

Ashok Singh further said that they have been contesting elections because of the government and have been indulging in hooliganism on the government's own. This time the people of Mau have made up their mind that the stigma of 25 years has to be erased. He further said- "I told you that they have been winning elections so far because of the governments, but this is yogi's government, there will be neither hooliganism nor goon reigns and the atmosphere that was created here by calling outsiders is also not going to run now.''

Ashok Singh said that Mukhtar Ansari has already run before the elections. What was the fault of my brother, he used to do contracting, Mukhtar wanted a 10 per cent goon tax, so he got him killed. 3 people were shot in that attack. Referring to Mukhtar Ansari's hooliganism, Ashok Singh said that when he had come to contest elections for the first time, there was an old Maruti 800 car, today the son is roaming in a luxury car, this is the looted money of the public. He said that I am fighting with Mukhtar, there is no fear, I have also fought the case with full force and I am also fighting the election with all my strength, I have to die one day and he has too, so there is no fear.
