BJP councilor alleged that AAP gave her offer for the Mayoral election

New Delhi: A woman councilor of the BJP, who was defeated in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD Election), has made a serious allegation of giving attractive offers to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) during the mayoral election. AAP has ended 15 years of BJP's rule in the Municipal Corporation by winning 134 seats in the MCD elections this time. In the elections held in 250 wards of the Municipal Corporation, the BJP got 104 seats, while the Congress got only nine seats.

BJP corporator Dr. Monika Pant says that she was called by a woman named Shikha Garg, who made her lucrative offers in exchange for supporting 'AAP' during the mayoral elections. Apart from being a councilor from Ward No. 206 of Anand Vihar, Monika Pant is also the General Secretary of Delhi BJP Mahila Morcha. Monika Pant has told that Shikha Garg, an agent of Arvind Kejriwal called me and wants to meet and talk about something. When I asked him to talk on the phone only, he insisted to talk together. Instead of coming to my house and supporting me in the mayoral election, he started giving me various kinds of inducements including the post.

After these allegations of BJP corporator, BJP leader Shahzad Poonawalla said that today a new model of AAP has come out, which is called the temptation for corporator model. On the other hand, Harish Khurana, a senior leader of Delhi BJP, said that Kejriwal's agent Shikha Garg is luring the BJP corporator, the proof of which has now come in front of everyone. We are going to file a complaint in this regard with the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) at 4 pm.
