West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has defended the Missionaries of Charity in a disputed dispute over a childless sold in Jharkhand. She alleged in his tweet on Thursday that an attempt is being made to discount the credentials of the Missionaries of Charity. Mamta blamed the BJP for this. She said that the BJP is now also targeting the missionaries' sits.

The Trinamool Congress President said in his tweet that Mother Teresa himself had set up Missionaries of Charity here. Now she is not being spared too. Missionaries are being targeted. The BJP does not want to spare anyone. It is extremely reprehensible. Missionaries should be allowed to work in the interests of the poor. This statement of Mamta has come at a time when two prisoners, including a nun of Missionaries, have been arrested for selling a child to a displaced couple from a conservation house in Ranchi.

Recently, Senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor who are facing charges in his wife Sunanda Pushkar murder case said that if Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wins 2019 general elections then India would turn into a 'Hindu Pakistan'.

Criticizing Tharoor’s remark, the BJP demanded Congress chief Rahul Gandhi's apology. Sambit Patra the spoke person of BJP took to Twitter and said that the Congress doesn't lose any chance to degrade India and insult Hindus.
