New Delhi: The BJP has attacked the Kejriwal government after the Supreme Court issued notices to four states, including Delhi, West Bengal, for not implementing the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. BJP Delhi unit president Aadesh Gupta has put the Kejriwal government in the dock as to why the scheme of free treatment to the poor in the capital was not implemented?

According to media reports, Aadesh Kumar Gupta said that if the Ayushman Yojana was implemented in Delhi, 10 lakh families and 50 lakh people could have benefited from better treatment during the corona period. Arvind Kejriwal had similarly stopped the implementation of PM Awas Yojana in Delhi, which led to the slum head getting rid of the roof. Aadesh Gupta said, "I would like to ask the Kejriwal government why the scheme, which gave health insurance of Rs. 5 lakh to the poor, was prevented from being implemented?

Aadesh Gupta said who is responsible for the poor people who died due to lack of funds in the absence of treatment? Who is not responsible for those who do not get treatment? State president Aadesh Kumar Gupta said, CM Arvind Kejriwal should know that more than 96 lakh people have taken advantage of the scheme so far in the states where the scheme has been implemented.
