New Delhi: Delhi's ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has alleged a Rs 6000 crore scam in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has said that there has been a huge scam in toll tax during the nexus of BJP leaders in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Not only this, but Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has also demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter.

Manish Sisodia has also written a letter to Lieutenant Governor (LG) Vinai Kumar Saxena in this matter. According to Sisodia, 10 lakh commercial vehicles come to Delhi every day and money is charged from them, but MCD is not getting this money. Not only this, but Sisodia has also accused of giving a license of 1200 crores for 786 crores. Earlier on Wednesday, the AAP had also accused the BJP-ruled MCD of missing Rs 6,760 crore from the 'Escrow' account.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA and MCD in-charge Durgesh Pathak had claimed that parking and conversion charges totalling Rs 6800 crore were deposited in the Escrow account. While the BJP-ruled MCD has spent only Rs 40 crore on parking since 2012.
