BJP Central Election Committee already conducted two times party meeting in Delhi. But even after the hours of the discussion, the party has not yet reached any conclusions about the first list. Chhattisgarh BJP in-charge Anil Jain has cleared that Candidates will be changed in all the 11 seats of the state including last 10 MPs. Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Central Election Committee (CEC) met on Tuesday to discuss seat-sharing allocation in 10 states. The meeting held on Tuesday evening, at the party’s headquarters.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah, Union Ministers Sushma Swaraj, Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley, and Kiren Rijiju, among others, attended the meeting. According to sources, the first list of candidates which is likely to carry most of the party's nominees for the first two phases. There could be major surprises in the BJP list for Uttar Pradesh - where the saffron party along with its ally Apna Dal had won 73 seats in 2014

 BJP has so far not released any list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Congress, on the other hand, has already released five lists. So far, the Congress has declared 137 candidates for the ensuing Lok Sabha polls, which will be held in seven phases beginning April 11.  Karnataka polls will be held in two phases - April 18 and April 23. The BJP CEC leaders also mulled over the names of candidates for Karnataka. There are indications that senior leaders L K Advani, M M Joshi, B C Khanduri and Bhagat Singh Koshiyari may not be given party tickets or some of them may opt out themselves.
