Big shock to BJP, former MLA Shyam Singh Rana joins INLD

Chandigarh: Shyam Singh Rana joined the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) by winning the assembly elections on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket from Rador seat in 2014. In 2019, he was said to be extremely upset with the ticket not being given from Rador seat. Despite his displeasure, he remained in the party that he could get a position but he was constantly ignored.

After which former MLA Shyam Singh Rana has joined INLD on Saturday. He had already resigned from all the posts and workload of BJP. Now two days ago, BJP has announced the new names of various state boards and corporation chairman and vice-chairman. While supporters hoped that he would return by giving him the leadership of the board and corporation but Shyam Singh's name was not even there. After which the former MLA held INLD's hand, putting a stop to all the speculation.

On Saturday, he reached the residence of former MLA from Yamunanagar Dilbagh, INLD State General Secretary, Chandigarh Sector-9 and MLA Abhay Singh Chautala from Ellenabad. Former CM Omprakash Chautala gave him a warm welcome by wearing a garland of flowers. Before going to Chandigarh, Shyam Singh Rana came face to face with journalists and targeted the BJP.
