Chhatarpur: Before the assembly elections to be held next year in Madhya Pradesh, the atmosphere is becoming electoral. On Tuesday, 3 MLAs can join the Bharatiya Janata Party. In this, the names of Samajwadi Party MLA Rajesh Kumar Shukla, Bahujan Samaj Party MLA Sanjeev Singh Kushwaha and Independent MLA Vikram Singh Rana are included.

Actually, MLA Rajesh Shukla of Samajwadi Party from Bijawar in Chhatarpur and Sanjeev Kushwaha, BSP MLA from Bhind are going to leave their party and join BJP. The political background of Sanjeev Kushwaha has also been from BJP. His father Ramlakhan Singh was a five-time MP.

At present both these MLAs are supporting BJP from outside. The special thing is that the defection rule will not apply to these three MLAs. Because with the joining of only one MLA from SP, Rajesh Shukla, 100% merger of the party will be done in BJP. On the other hand, Bahujan Samaj Party has two MLAs in the form of Rambai and Sanjeev Kushwaha. In this way, even if there is 50 percent merger with BJP, the anti-defection act will not apply. Let us tell you that the urban body elections are to be held in Madhya Pradesh in July itself. And with the joining of these MLAs, Congress will get a tough fight and BJP will get big support. The BJP currently has 127 members in the 230-member Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
