Kolkata: West Bengal is going to have elections in eight phases from March 27. In order to win elections in the state, all parties are not going to let a single chance of confessing the public. The BJP, which wishes to get the power of the state, is also doing something like that. In fact, the BJP has given a ticket to the wife of a daily wage laborer from the Saltora Assembly Constituency at Bankura in the state. It is believed that the BJP's motive behind doing so is to get a message from the people that the general public can also be a leader with their perseverance and honesty. As a BJP candidate, 30-year-old Chandana Bouri, who recently filed her nomination, said that she had a total property of Rs 31,985 with three goats, three cows, and one hut. Chandana's husband Sarban is a mason. They get Rs. 400 for one day daily wages. Chandana also has a hand in her husband's work. Both are Manrega cardholders and have three children also. There is no toilet in Chandana's house. At the same time, there is no tap arrangement for drinking water. They have to go out and bring water.

Chandana said, "We had to go to the nearby ground for defecation. Last year, we got the first installment of 'Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana' of Rs. 60,000 and two rooms were built. Talking about her candidacy, she said, "I got information from the local people about my candidature on the 8th of March. I belong to a poor family. By making me a candidate, the BJP has shown that It is not necessary to have a strong financial position to be a leader.''
