Visakhapatnam: The Jubani war between Andhra Pradesh's ruling YSR Congress Party and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) over the transfer of Andhra Pradesh capital Amaravati is continuing. Meanwhile, the statement of Rajya Sabha member TG Venkatesh of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has created a hue and skirmishes in the state. In Karanul on Sunday, Venkatesh claimed that the state CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy has shared his views on moving from Amaravati to the capital elsewhere with the BJP's top leadership at the Centre.
According to a media report, Venkatesh did not stop, he told the press that Jaganmohan was planning to build four capitals in Andhra Pradesh. Rajya Sabha MP Venkatesh has claimed that CM Jagan Reddy plans to develop the cities of Vijayanagaram, Kakinada, Guntur and Kadpa as the capital to achieve development in all parts of the state equally.
Recalling the old days, Venkatesh said that when CM Jagan Mohan Reddy was the Leader of the Opposition, he had strongly criticised the TDP government's decision to make Amaravati the capital. Venkatesh said that the Decision of the Naidu government to make Amaravati the capital at that time was also opposed by the people and farmers.
