New Delhi: Rouse Avenue Court of Delhi has granted bail to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Hansraj Hans on a personal bond of Rs 20,000 in a defamation case. Hansraj Hans appeared in court on Friday for the first time in a defamation suit. The case was heard through physical hearing.
This defamation case was filed by Delhi Deputy CM Manoj Sisodia against 6 BJP leaders including Hansraj Hans, Manoj Tiwari, now all the people have got bail from the court in this case. The court has ordered the remaining accused MP Manoj Tiwari, MP Pravesh Verma, MP Vijender Gupta, Manjinder Sirsa to appear in the court to sign the charge sheet on the next date.
Sisodia filed this petition on July 20, 2019. It has been said in the petition that six BJP leaders including Manoj Tiwari have made false allegations of corruption in the construction of classrooms of government schools in Delhi. Sisodia had said in the defamation petition that these leaders have tried to tarnish his image by making false allegations in the media. Please tell that 6 BJP leaders, including Hansraj Hans, Manoj Tiwari, Pravesh Verma, had accused the Aam Aadmi Party government of corruption in a press conference.
