New Delhi: Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh may get a big post in the Central government. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Harjit Garewal has claimed that Amarinder Singh may meet PM Narendra Modi and Captain can get Agriculture minister post. Amarinder Singh and Union Home Minister Amit Shah met on Wednesday. The captain had also met NSA Ajit Doval on Thursday.

Harjit Garewal said Amarinder has to decide his role himself, his role cannot be decided by anyone else. Garewal further said that Modi ji likes to bring good people. Amarinder Singh met National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on Thursday. With this meeting, political speculation has started over Amarinder's plans. Keeping in mind the current political situation in Punjab, the meeting is considered very important.

The captain said that during his meeting with Shah, he discussed agricultural laws and requested the Home Minister to repeal the laws, guarantee MSP. Earlier on Tuesday, Navjot Singh Sidhu resigned as Punjab Congress president, giving a severe blow to the Gandhi family.
