Jaipur: MP Kirodi Lal Meena met Police Commissioner Anand Srivastava with his supporters following the stone-pelting incident on Kanwaris On Thursday.  Meena also submitted a memorandum to the commissioner. In a memorandum submitted to the police officer, BJP MP Meena has demanded action against the culprits.

It may be mentioned that BJP leaders and supporters were angry at the incident of stone-pelting by community-specific people at Gala Gate and adjoining areas of Jaipur city. Meena said that during the month of Sawan, the Cavaliers were taking kanwaris in peace, but during this time the community members attacked the Kawaris and beat them fiercely.

He said that the next day of the attack, he again jammed the Delhi road and attacked people. Meena said the police are not taking action against the culprits under political pressure. He said a memorandum has been given to the commissioner today to protest in a symbolic manner. If the police do not act soon, there will be agitation across the state.
