Palamu: BJP leader Mohan Gupta and young man Suraj Soni present with him have been shot dead in Pipra police station area under Palamu district of Jharkhand. Two other youths have also been injured in the incident, who have not been identified. The CPI (Maoist) form has also been recovered from the spot. According to villagers, Mohan Gupta has been shot in a dozen shots since AK 47.

Mohan Gupta was also the husband of the head of Pipra Block. At the same time, the police reached the spot after the incident has started investigating the case. Also, the injured have been admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment. According to the information, Mohan was on the target of Naxalites for many years. After the murder, the Naxalites have taken responsibility for leaving the paper on the spot. According to the information, Mohan Gupta was roaming in Pipra market late Saturday. During this period, Naxalites riding motorcycle shot him.

After this incident, Mohan Gupta and the other three were admitted to the hospital for treatment, where Manoj Gupta and Suraj Soni succumbed during treatment. In 2012 also Mohan Gupta was attacked by Naxalites. In the form recovered from the spot, it has been written on behalf of the CPI (Maoist) to boycott the assembly elections, establish the people's democratic system. It has been written that the government which cannot provide work and employment has no right to sit on the chair.
