Lucknow: Farmers' agitation against the centre's agricultural laws has not stopped so far. The Kisan Mahapanchayat was held in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh last Sunday. The Mahapanchayat was led by Rakesh Tikait, leader of the Bharatiya Kisan Union. Meanwhile, Rakesh Tikait addressed the farmers and took aim at the BJP government at the Centre and UP. In fact, Rakesh Tikait shared pictures of Kisan Mahapanchayat from his official Twitter handle and claimed that '20 lakh farmers joined.' '

Uttar Pradesh BJP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi has now slammed Rakesh Tikait for his tweet. In fact, he recently wrote, "20,000 could not be raised, 20 lakhs are being claimed. I heard that there was a rumour about Mia khalifa's arrival. Let me tell you all that Rakesh Tikait wrote in his tweet, "20 lakh farmers from Jammu and Kashmir to Kerala reached Muzaffarnagar and once again gave certificates to the dictatorial government, which she calls a handful of farmers, they are farmers all over the country. ''

On the same tweet, Uttar Pradesh BJP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi wrote, "20,000 could not be raised, 20 lakhs are claiming, four photos have been tweeted. It is heard that there was also a rumour about Mia khalifa's arrival, which led to a slight rush, but the crowd was very disappointed.''

Here the representatives of farmers' organizations from Punjab, Haryana to South India attended the Kisan Mahapanchayat held in Muzaffarnagar. Farmers' leaders from the dais here announced that they would oppose the BJP in UP, Uttarakhand and other assembly elections. It was also stated that maha panchayat will also be organized in all divisions including Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Banaras, Kanpur in UP. Similarly, farmer leaders have also called for Bharat bandh on September 27.
