Raipur: BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra has condemned the uproar being created by the Congress on the streets against the enforcement directorate's (ED) questioning of Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi in a money laundering case related to the 'National Herald' case. He also hit out at India's oldest political party, saying the Congress feels it has a right to commit a "dacoity" and no one should question it. Let us know that Sonia Gandhi today appeared before the ED in Delhi on Tuesday for the second round of questioning.

Addressing a press conference at the BJP office 'Kushabhau Thakre Complex' in Chhattisgarh's capital Raipur, Patra said, "I feel many times that for the Congress, ED means 'entitlement for Dacoity'. The Congress felt that it was their right to commit dacoity and no one should question them.'' He said that corrupt people should not think that there will be no inquiry against them. The BJP spokesperson said, "It has been the principle of the BJP not to tolerate corruption at all. The entire country is watching the way the Congress is staging Satyagraha today against Sonia Gandhi's appearance in front of the ED in the National Herald case.''

Patra further said that the opposition is not left with any issue that it can raise. Attacking the Congress for doing 'Satyagraha', he said, "Sonia Ji, we need confess, not a ruckus.'' Patra said, "Investigation (under law) is a proper process. The law in the country will take its own course and come to a logical conclusion. This is the beauty of India.'' ’
