Lucknow: Former BJP MLA Sangeet Som has made another objectionable statement. In this statement, Sangeet Som has commented on the Gyanvapi mosque. He said people like Aurangzeb had built the Gyanvapi Mosque. It is the turn of Babri in 1992 and Gyanvapi in 2022. The time has come to take back the mosque that the invaders had built by demolishing the temple.

Sangeet Som has also posted this statement on his Facebook page. It is being told that earlier Sangeet Som had made a similar statement on the birth anniversary celebrations of Maharana Pratap held at Jwalagarh crossroads in Meerut. The video of his statement is going viral on social media. Sangeet Som, who attended the event as the chief guest, said that a temple of Lord Kashinath will be built at Banaras. Now Kashinath temple will be brought in its grand form. The entire temple will be built by setting up the entire family of Lord Shiva.

Posting the pictures of the event on Facebook, the BJP leader had written, "Today, on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Veer Shiromani, veer son of Maa Bharati, Pujya Maharana Pratap Ji, the statue at Jwalagarh crossroads was garlanded. He greeted the young comrades who came in thousands and addressed the youth on his birth anniversary by remembering Maharana Pratap Ji.''
