New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi on Thursday (September 8) targeted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government over the liquor scam. Sudhanshu Trivedi has said that the crisis of trust is deepening in the capital after the propaganda done by AAP to divert attention from the liquor scam. He further said that 'Kejriwal', sitting on a constitutional post in the history of India, is the only person who had spoken of taking action on the sting operation. He said that Kejriwal should either take action or apologize for his statement.

Sudhanshu Trivedi said that BJP believes that there is a clear mention of amount and commission in the sting operation, but Kejriwal is not ready to celebrate it. It has become clear from this that the face of the hardline honest government has been cleared. Sudhanshu Trivedi said that all the eight MLAs of the Delhi BJP while writing a letter to the central investigating agency CBI, will demand to investigate the matter by taking cognizance of the sting operation that came to light.

The BJP leader said that seeing the attitude of the Arvind Kejriwal government, it seems that even after such clear evidence has come to the fore, it will not take any action against Manish Sisodia and other officers, so the CBI has to take cognizance of the video of this sting operation in the matter should be investigated. Let us tell you that the liquor policy of the Delhi government has been in controversies from the very beginning.

When the Kejriwal government brought this policy, along with the BJP, the people of Delhi also opposed the opening of three liquor shops in each ward. Later it came to light that the Delhi government had distributed contracts to blacklisted businessmen by taking money, along with it deliberately allowing the loss of government coffers to give undue benefits to the liquor mafia. When this matter reached Lieutenant Governor (LG) Vinay Saxena, he recommended a CBI inquiry into the liquor policy. As soon as the CBI investigation started, the Kejriwal government took a U-turn and withdrew its policy, which they were praising earlier. In such a situation, political experts say that when there was no scam in the liquor policy of the Delhi government, why did CM Kejriwal withdraw the policy? This question is putting a question mark on the determination of the Delhi government.
