New Delhi: Information has come to light that Najafgarh BJP Kisan Morcha chief Surendra Matiala was shot dead on Friday in Matiala, the capital of the country. BJP leader Surendra is said to have been sitting in his office when he was attacked. According to reports, the incident took place in the Bindapur police station area.

Surendra Matiala had also been a counsellor in the past. On the other hand, on this incident, DCP M Harshvardhan of Dwarka district has told that, "In the course of the investigation of the case on the spot, it has come to light that Surendra Matiala has been shot several times. The doctor has declared the BJP leader dead. He was shot while he was in the office. Whatever information will come out in the investigation, immediate action will be taken on it. Several police teams have been pressed into action, and the crime branch is also probing.

It has not been made clear yet why the murder was done there. The police are probing the matter from every angle. An officer has said that "we are investigating from all angles." The police have taken the dead body into custody and sent it for postmortem. At the same time, sensation has spread in the area after the murder.
