New Delhi: Bhoomi Poojan and the foundation stone for the construction of Shri Rama's temple at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya has been completed, but a day before this, BJP leaders Asked to change the name of a capital road to 5 August Road. Former Delhi BJP President Vijay Goel demanded renaming of the famous Babur Road in Central Delhi.

On August 4, Goyal and other BJP workers reached the Bengali Market area of Delhi, where the sign board of Babur Road was installed. Goyal placed a new board on this board, in which Babur Road was cut black. On the same signboard, 5 August Road was written below. However later it was removed by NDMC. On August 5, the date of Bhoomi Poojan was fixed for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, which is being built after the Supreme Court's decision on the disputed land. The disputed Babri Masjid on the same land was demolished 28 years ago, which was accused of breaking the old Ram temple.

At the same time, on his proposal to change the name of Babur Road, Goyal said, "Babur was a foreign invader, who invaded India and broke the Ram temple." Goyal said that it would be right to change the name of Babur Road to 5 August Road on 5 August due to land worship on the same land.
