Mumbai: Independent MP from Maharashtra Navneet Rana is admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after being released from jail. For the last two days, there is an influx of BJP leaders to meet the Rana couple. MLA Ravi Rana and MP Navneet Rana had warned against reciting Hanuman Chalisa outside Matoshree, the personal residence of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, only after the BJP spoke. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has already made such an allegation.
The same Navneet Rana had sought help from Devendra Fadnavis and Narayan Rane by releasing a video before his arrest, but Maharashtra BJP is now seen coming out openly in support of the Rana couple who returned after spending 12 days in jail. Soon after the Rana couple got bail, BJP leader Kirit Somaiya reached Lilavati Hospital to meet them, while on the second day, Mumbai BJP president Mangal Prabhat Lodha and women's vice-president Chitra Wagh visited them. To boost the morale of the Rana couple, BJP leaders are constantly reaching to meet them.
The same Navneet Rana had also written a letter to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha regarding the bad behavior being done by the jail administration. Thereafter, the Union Home Department had asked the Maharashtra government to submit a factual report on the matter within 24 hours. Then Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey released a video calling the allegations of misbehavior by the police as false. Which was also discussed fiercely on social media.
