Kolkata: In the Midnapore district of West Bengal, two BJP leaders got into a scuffle. In fact, the Mandal President, who had come for some work in the BJP office, had a fight with the District Vice President. The issue escalated so much that a fight broke out between the two. After the intervention of the people present there, both the leaders were pacified.

According to sources, when Garbeta Mandal President Thakur Das Midda reached the party's district headquarters on Saturday evening, he got into a fight with District Vice President Shankar Guchayat. Midda had gone to the party office to collect some party flags when he was asked by Guchayat to deposit the cost of the previous collection. At first, there was a war of words between the two leaders and later a scuffle broke out between the two. In the video, Mandal President Midda can be seen thrashing the Vice President badly. Even his mobile phone was broken. The fight between the two leaders continued till the people present there intervened.

Politics has now started on the scuffle between the same BJP leaders. Attacking the BJP, TMC said that it is the result of infighting within the party. Local TMC leader Ajit Maity said this is their culture. His leaders like Dilip Ghosh used to speak in front of the people of his party that he would bite and kill, this is the result of such bizarre remarks. However, on this matter, BJP District President Shankar Guchayat said that the CCTV footage has been handed over to the top leaders of the party.
