Lucknow: BJP leader and Founder of Akashi Sena Ram Prakash Mishra climbed mobile tower accusing Kheri Nagar Panchayat of Uttar Pradesh of corruption. He was adamant on the demand of the DM to call. After eleven and a half hours, after much persuasion, the BJP leader came down from the tower. BJP leader Ram Prakash Mishra climbed the mobile tower in the morning and sat at the top. At first, this was not reported to the people. But in the afternoon Ram Prakash Mishra started performing Facebook Live from the tower itself. After which a large crowd of people gathered there. Police then rushed to the spot. In his Facebook Live, Ram Prakash Mishra has alleged that there are cases of rampant corruption in the work being carried out in Nagar panchayats.
Despite complaining many times, no one is going to listen. He has requested the CM to conduct a high level inquiry into all the works of the Nagar Panchayat and an inquiry is to be conducted against the culprits. The local police administration has reached the spot after receiving information that the BJP leader had climbed the tower. Kheri police station in-charge Fateh Singh Chowki in-charge Kaushal Kishore has been working for several hours to convince the BJP leader. But Ram Prakash is coming live on Facebook every hour and talking about meeting his demand. He said he has lost to the system. There is no one in their own Government to listen to them. They have taken this step out of compulsion. The BJP leader has threatened to jump out of the tower and suicide if the DM himself does not come by 5 pm.
BJP leaders came down to the persuasion: BJP leader and Nakaha block chief Pawan Gupta and former BJP president Sharad Bajpai rushed to the spot at 5.30 pm after about 11 hours. Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, SDM also arrived. BJP leader Ram Prakash Mishra got off the tower after his assurance. BJP leaders assured that all the allegations of corruption against Nagar panchayat will be investigated impartially and legal action is certainly going to be taken if the allegations are found to be correct. At the same time, it was promised that no case could be registered against him for climbing the tower. After hearing this, Ram Prakash Mishra came down from the tower.
