The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to release the first list of candidates for the Lok Sabha Polls on tomorrow. Sources have said that the party may announce the candidates for the 42 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. The list will have the names of most of the candidates for the first phase of polling, which will be held on April 11. The Lok Sabha election will be held in seven stages till May 19 and result will come on May 23.

Party president Amit Shah, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and other top Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders will attend the central election committee meeting. Every one of the 42 seats in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will go to the polls in the primary stage with a small number of constituencies in numerous different states, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Odisha, and Assam, also to witness polling on April 11.

The Assembly election in Telangana and Odisha will be held at the same time as the general election. With Modi known for dropping a number of incumbents in order to beat the anti-incumbency factor, the saffron party has been buzzing with theory over the destiny of its sitting MPs.It has sought feedback from various sources, including the public, and has also solicited its MPs to furnish details from the works they have completed as it settles its candidates for the upcoming polls.
