New Delhi: The Congress party on Wednesday alleged that several Bjp leaders and some uttar pradesh government officials have purchased the land around the ram temple under construction in Ayodhya at a nominal price and the loot of land comes after the Supreme Court verdict in 2019.

Congress national general secretary and chief spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala also said that PM Narendra Modi should respond to the loot of donations and loot of land and conduct an impartial inquiry into the entire matter. Surjewala said referring to the names of some BJP MLAs in Uttar Pradesh and some top officials of the local administration, he claimed that the BJP people had committed sedition for which they deserved "sin and curse". There is no response from the BJP or the Uttar Pradesh government at present to the Congress' claim.

Surjewala further said that earlier donations were looted in the name of Ram Temple and now property building is being looted. Clearly, the BJP are now committing sedition. The land is directly looted. On the one hand, the lamp of faith was lit and on the other hand, the BJP people have looted the land. He claimed that now a new revelation has been made that the lands near the under construction Ram Temple have been purchased on a scale by BJP MLAs, mayors, OBC commission members and top officials of the administration.
