The Congress has so far been targeting the BJP over the huge amount of stake received from the Electoral Bonds. Congress held a press conference in the Parliament premises and revealed the matter.

In his statement, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad says that it is clear from the RTI that the rules were broken only at the behest of the Prime Minister's Office. Therefore, the government should tell in both the houses of Parliament, who got the amount of electoral bond and who gave it. Anand Sharma says that it is a political scam that has raised money through bonds that taint the electoral process.

Neither the person who gave the money in it nor the source from whom the money came in, disclosed how much amount it gave, is also not known. In such a situation, the concern and comments of the RBI and Election Commission are important.
