BJP may get me killed like Indira Gandhi: Arvind Kejriwal

In a sensational allegation against Prime Minister Narendra Modi Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal today claimed that the saffron party may get him assassinated like former PM Indira Gandhi. The CM further claimed that his Personal Security Officers (PSO) report to the BJP government at the Centre and vote for PM Modi. The CM gave this statement while campaigning in Punjab.

This is not the first time that the Delhi CM has made this claim. In July 2016, the Delhi CM in a dramatic video message posted on YouTube had claimed that PM Modi and party president Amit Shah can go to any extent to get him killed. In his 2016 statement, Kejriwal had described the PM as the “mastermind” behind the arrest of AAP MLAs.

Recently, Kejriwal was slapped by a man while holding a roadshow in Delhi's Moti Nagar area. In the video of the incident that went viral on social media, a man, wearing a red T-shirt, climbed on Arvind Kejriwal's open jeep and slapped the CM. The accused later said that he was a supporter of AAP.

Reacting on Delhi CM’s statement AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj said, “After becoming CM he has been attacked at least 6 times in presence of police. Even after such incidents, no action was taken. We don't trust the Delhi Police.”

Meanwhile, Kejriwal today said that the Muslim vote “shifted” to the Congress at the last minute during the Lok Sabha polls in the national capital and hinted that it will hurt the party.

The polling for seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi was held during the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections on May 12 and counting will take place on May 23.
