Mumbai: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Nitesh Rane has recently once again targeted Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. In fact, he recently talked about Ganeshotsav and on this pretext, he targeted the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. In a statement, he said, "The situation in Mumbai is similar to that of West Bengal now. Where the Durga Puja festival was banned. According to the new rules framed by the state government for Ganesh Utsav mandals, it is very difficult to celebrate this festival. We have conveyed our concerns to the Governor."

At the same time, Nitesh Rane further accused the Uddhav Thackeray government of "some time ago when other religious festivals were being celebrated, they had no problem. So why only Hindus? Hinduism is in danger. We have spoken to the Governor about it. We have asked them to protect our festival otherwise the Thackeray government will gradually end this festival. All of you will know that the court of the King of Lal Bagh is going to be decorated in Maharashtra this year. In fact, according to the government guidelines, a four-foot statue of Lord Ganesha will also be installed.

In fact, last year, it was decided by the Mandal not to celebrate Ganeshotsav due to the outbreak of coronavirus, but this year the outbreak of corona infection has subsided and it has been decided to celebrate Ganeshotsav. The Maharashtra government has also issued guidelines for the same and said that those who are celebrating the festival in public should keep the height of the statue at four feet and those celebrating it in their homes have been directed to install a two feet statue.
