Bhopal: Three people, including two bikers, have died in a painful road accident on the Tikamgarh-Chhatarpur road in Madhya Pradesh. Reports said that the SUV from which the accident occurred is said to be that of Rahul Singh Lodhi, the veteran BJP leader and MLA nephew of former Madhya Pradesh CM Uma Bharti. Rahul Singh Lodhi is BJP MLA from Kharagpur seat.

Tikamgarh police have taken the SUV in possession. However, it was not clear whether MLA Rahul Lodhi was riding in the car at the time of the accident. Police have started an FIR and started investigating the whole case. The accident occurred near Papavani village on Tikamgarh-Chhatarpur road at around 3 pm on Monday afternoon. According to reports, two people named bike riders Brijendra and Ravi were seriously injured after being hit by a high-speed SUV. He died while being taken to the hospital. Along with this, another person who was injured also died during treatment.

However, BJP MLA Rahul Lodhi has categorically denied the accident from his car. The MLA says that when the driver was passing the road at the time of the accident, he told MLA Rahul about the incident over phone. After this, the MLA informed the police.
