Patna: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLC Sachidanda Rai has come to light for his statement over BJP-JDU) alliance. In his statement, Sachidanand Rai said that he is yet to understand why the BJP remains a part of the alliance. Praising the party workers, Sachidanda said that the BJP has the strength to contest on the strength of the party.

Sachidanand Rai, in a taunting accent, questioned what this relationship is. He also questioned the intention of the state BJP unit and said that he will continue as CM if the BJP does not remain with Nitish. Hitting out at the Nitish government, Sachidanda said that the way the Bihar government is functioning in the present situation, it seems that if the same thing happens in the times to come, it will do a lot of harm to the people.

Expressing concern over the situation in Bihar, Sachidanda Roy said that the central leadership should take a decision at the earliest and the alliance of Bihar should be discussed. Earlier, BJP leader and Union Minister Giriraj Singh had also asked the party to break the alliance with the JD(U).
