New Delhi: The cleanliness drive launched by PM Modi echoes and its impression is visible in every part of the country. The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is being launched in the street to see the garbage in the street. It is being reflected in different parts of the country, but now the campaign has reached the parliament.
On Saturday, Parliament witnessed a scene that had never been seen before. Senior BJP ministers and MPs rushed to the parliament complex to clean themselves with brooms. According to a report by news agency ANI, the cleanliness drive was carried out in the Parliament complex under the leadership of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. From Mathura Lok Sabha seat, BJP MP Hema Malini and Hamirpur Lok Sabha seat saw BJP MP and Union Minister of State Anurag Thakur sweeping Parliament.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP MP Hema Malini said, it is a great thing that the Lok Sabha Speaker has launched Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Parliament House complex on the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Hema Malini, MP from Mathura Lok Sabha seat, said that she will return to Mathura next week and will launch the same campaign there.
