New Delhi: BJP MP and Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti has reacted to the gang rape of a young woman in Hathras in Uttar Pradesh. She has said, "I demand that all the accused in the Hathras case be hanged at the earliest. Terming the incident as very unfortunate, she has rightly termed the action being taken by the Yogi Government.

Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti said that he has spoken to CM Yogi Adityanath on the issue, the State Government has set up SIT to look into the matter, which will be reported in seven days. When questions were raised about the attitude of the police administration in the entire incident, she said strict action would be taken against the police and administrative officers who were negligent in the matter.

Congress is continuously attacking the government over the incident. In a similar attack on the Congress, Niranjan Jyoti said, the people have rejected them. She is now trying to come forward with some issue. She also lashed out at the statement made by SP President Akhilesh Yadav and said that Akhilesh Yadav should remember at least his reign. No one has forgotten the Bulandshahr and Mathura scandal so far. She said Hathras scandal is not a power-opposition issue, yet the politics being made by the opposition is unfortunate.
