Kolkata: A few days ago, after the stone pelting on the car of Sunil Mondal (MP), who joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from the Trinamool Congress (TMC), has been granted Y Plus category security. After which now a team of central security forces will always be deployed along with Sunny Deol.

It is worth mentioning that when Sunil Mondal was going to the BJP office in Mandal Hastings on Saturday, Mondal faced opposition from the ruling party workers in West Bengal at that time. BJP MP Arjun Singh alleged that his car was stopped by some Trinamool Congress workers taking part in a program. Sitting on the road to prevent him from going to the office. He also threw stones at Mondal's vehicle.

He said that after this there was a scuffle between Trinamool workers and BJP workers. A senior officer said that the police reached the spot and took over the situation after which Mondal's car could get out of there. Mondal further said, 'This revealed the true colour of Trinamool. They do not follow any democratic rules. Is this kind of treatment done with the public representative?'
