NEW DELHI: BJP's West Delhi-area MP Praveen Verma referred to the difficulties faced by vehicles in the vicinity of government land and roads in many parts of the capital and asked the Delhi Deputy Governor to take immediate action in the matter. He has also raised the demand for a rover.
What's more, in a letter to LG, the MP also calls for immediate steps to address the problem arising out of the ongoing construction of mosques in Delhi, including West Delhi.
The MP has suggested setting up of a committee of local bodies, district magistrates and other related departments under the supervision of the police to deal with the situation. While MP Praveen Verma cited the ever increasing number of mosques in many parts of the West Delhi Parliamentary constituency, there has also been a demand for appropriate steps to address traffic problems. At the same time, Verma has expressed concern that if such ongoing constructions are not banned quickly, the problem may take a more serious turn across Delhi in the coming few days. Now it has to be seen what the Governor takes cognizance of.
