Bhopal: BJP has declared its candidate for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh. Under the recent information, the BJP's Central Election Committee has announced the name of Dr. Al Murgan of Tamil Nadu from Madhya Pradesh and surprised everyone. In fact, the names of former MP CM Uma Bharti, Krishna Murari Moghe and BJP Scheduled Castes Front National President Lal Singh Arya were in the news. Talking about Murgan, he is currently the Minister of State in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Let me tell all of you that the political turmoil in Madhya Pradesh has intensified ahead of the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections. Nominations for a Rajya Sabha seat in Madhya Pradesh, which fell vacant due to the resignation of Union Minister-turned-Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot some time ago, will be filed by September 22. Scrutiny of nominations will be held on September 23 followed by September 27 as the last date for withdrawal of nominations.

If there is more than one candidate, polling will be held on 4th October and the results will be declared after completion of counting by evening. On the other hand, it is being said that the MP Congress has refused to field a candidate in the Rajya Sabha due to a lack of magical figures, making it clear that the seat will go to the BJP account. Let us tell you that Madhya Pradesh currently has 227 out of 230 MLAs and 3 assembly seats are vacant. The BJP has 125 members and Congress, 95 members in the list.
