Panaji, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president, Amit Shah, is likely to arrive in Goa on August 20 for a one-day visit to take stock of preparations.

In Goa, Shah would address the party's ministers, MLAs and booth level workers on the strategy for upcoming Assembly election in the state.

JP Goa unit chief Vinay Tendulkar said, "Amit Shah would be in Goa on August 20. He will be here for a day and go early morning the next day".

The BJP president will also address 9,000 booth level workers at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium.

Following his visit to Goa, Shah will proceed to Karnataka.
