Indore: After a long wait for the Madhya Pradesh civic body elections, the BJP released its list of candidates, in which the names of 13 candidates were announced. On Tuesday, a day after a meeting with Amit Shah in Delhi, the BJP sealed the names of 13 of the 16 candidates for the election of mayor of the municipal corporation. Now the BJP has released its second list in which 2 names have been sealed.
In its second list, the BJP has fielded 41-year-old Pushyamitra Bhargava as its mayoral candidate from Indore city. Bhargava is the face of the RSS choice. Pushyamitra Bhargava, an advocate by profession, has done LLB, LLM. He joined the ABVP due to student politics. Thereafter, he also joined the RSS. The government has appointed Bhargava as additional advocate general on the Indore bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
From Ratlam city, bjp has fielded minister Tulsi Silawat as its mayoral candidate. The same name is still confused, at present, there is no statement from the BJP on this.
