Lucknow: Ittehade Millat Council (IMC) chief Maulana Tauqeer Ahmed Raza Khan has announced unconditional support to the Congress. The BJP has hit out at the Congress and accused it of playing politics of dividing the society. Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters in Delhi on Tuesday, BJP leader Sambit Patra said that there is a race between the Congress and the Samajwadi Party as to who can spread so much hatred.

Naming several SP candidates, Sambit Patra alleged that Akhilesh Yadav is giving tickets to those who have serious cases registered against them. Patra further said, "There is a kind of competition between the Congress and the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh as to who can spew more poison against Hindus. Which party can give shelter to those who speak against Hindus?'' Patra said Maulana Tauqeer Khan yesterday extended his unconditional support to Congress.

Patra said Maulana made the announcement in the presence of the Uttar Pradesh president of Congress. The media had shown the same Maulana's video in which he was seen spewing poison against Hindus. In the video, he was saying that if law and order come into the hands of his jawans, Hindus will not even get a place to live in India. He had threatened to change the map of India.
