BJP to send gifts to 30 lakh workers ahead of UP polls

Lucknow: In view of the upcoming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has stepped up efforts to strengthen itself to the booth level. In view of this, the saffron party has sent Diwali gifts to its 30 lakh booth workers. In the 2017 assembly elections, the then BJP National President Amit Shah focused on booth management and tried to create a family atmosphere by going to the house of booth level workers, eating food. Amit Shah had also addressed booth level conferences in every region of the state.

In the same episode, the party has sent a Diwali gift to booth level workers. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is visiting Lucknow on Friday and his meeting has also been held. The state has one lakh 63 thousand booths and the BJP has constituted a 20-20 member committee at more than 1.5 lakh booths. The BJP has more than 30 lakh booth level workers in the state. The party has sent gifts to all booth committee members with Torana gate and lotus lamp. Kamal Deepak is an earthen lamp that is the size of a BJP symbol.

BJP state unit vice president and legislative council member Vijay Bahadur Pathak said on Thursday that we all work together and booth workers are the most important link in the BJP family. Since there has been a tradition of giving gifts on Deepawali, the party has sent Deepawali gifts to more than 30 lakh booth workers.
