New Delhi: BJP Lok Sabha MP Manoj Tiwari has announced that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will hold a major protest on Tuesday against the Kejriwal government's "Tughlaqi decree" to ban Chhath Puja. He said, "This year, when everything is going at a normal pace, even liquor shops in Delhi have been opened without any hesitation, but the decision to stop the worship of Chhath Maa which is in November was taken 1.5 months ago, it is shameful. '

Bjp State Unit President Adesh Kumar Gupta said that lakhs of people of Purvanchal live in Delhi and celebrate Chhath Mahaparva, so the Kejriwal government should allow chhath. He alleged that CM Arvind Kejriwal has acted to hurt the faith of the people of Purvanchal. He recalled that CM Kejriwal had said that people of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar come with a ticket of Rs 500 and go here for free treatment of Rs 5 lakh. Aadesh Gupta termed it as a great insult to the people of Purvanchal. He further said, "BJP announces that we will celebrate Chhath Puja and we will also complete whatever arrangements are made by the corporation for Chhath Puja. BJP workers will ensure that chhath mahaparva is celebrated with great fanfare following the rules of corona. The Kejriwal government is playing with the faith of all the Poorvanchal people living in Delhi by banning the mahaparva of Chhath Puja. '

Adesh Gupta further said that the fact is that the Delhi government cannot make arrangements for Chhath, so it is showing its inaction by banning it. On the other hand, MP Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma said, "Kejriwal has opened the entire Delhi but chhath puja is coming, so suddenly the Taliban decree said that chhath puja will be banned. Kejriwal also used to give a free hand in the lockdown on Bakrid, Eid. Why is Kejriwal so hated?'
