Kolkata: The Trinamool government in West Bengal has recently announced to celebrate 'Khela Hobe' Day on August 16. Now the BJP and TMC have come face to face over it. The BJP is gearing up to chalk out a plan to protest against 'Khela Hobe' Day on a large scale. Mamata Banerjee had announced on July 21 that august 16 will be celebrated as 'Khela Hobe' day every year from now on. He said that now in Delhi as well there will be Khela Hobe. On the other hand, the BJP became the aggressor after Mamata's announcement.

It was only on August 16 that 'Direct Action Day' or 'Great Calcutta Killings' was announced. It was only on August 16, 1946, that Direct Action Day was announced on the demand of a Muslim country led by Jinnah, also known as the Great Calcutta Killings. At that time, thousands of Hindus were killed, their women were raped, and the streets of Kolkata were covered with dead bodies. BJP leader Rahul Sinha has named TMC Trinamool league after announcing the celebration of The Khela Hobe on this day. According to Rahul Sinha, TMC is following in the footsteps of the Muslim League and celebrating 'Khela Hobe' Day on August 16, as the violence that erupted in Bengal after the elections is a form of this (Direct Action Day).

On the other hand, TMC has denied the BJP's claim. Shobhan Deb Chattopadhyay, minister in the TMC government, said it is not new that the BJP has always been making such allegations. In fact, TMC wants to discriminate, but Mamata Banerjee has shown that she is a leader who takes everyone along and deserves to become the PM.
