Patna: Days after Bihar CM Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal (United) pulled out of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), the BJP has set a target of winning 35 seats in Bihar in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. A meeting of the Bihar BJP core committee was held at the party headquarters in Delhi on Tuesday in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party chief JP Nadda. All the big leaders of Bihar BJP were present in this meeting.

The meeting was attended by state president Sanjay Jaiswal, Sushil Kumar Modi, BL Santosh, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Shahnawaz Hussain, Mangal Pandey, Janak Ram, Nand Kishore Yadav and many other leaders. After this meeting, Jaiswal said, "The grand alliance in Bihar is an alliance to deceive the people. The BJP will fight against it from the road to the assembly. The BJP has set a target of winning 35 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. This meeting of the Bihar core committee was held in the presence of national president JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. There has been a very thorough and detailed discussion on all the issues.''

The BJP state president has termed the grand alliance as a fraud on the people of Bihar. He has said that this is a backdoor alliance, which is trying to re-establish Lalu Raj in Bihar. Jaiswal further said that the BJP will set a record by winning more than 35 seats in Bihar in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
